Video uploads happen inside the course editor on the instructor dashboard. We accept MP4, MOV, WebM, and MKV up to 4 GB per file.

Upload a video

  1. Open your course → the section → the lecture.
  2. Click Upload video and drag the file in (or click to browse).
  3. Wait for upload + processing — the lecture shows Processing for a few minutes.
  4. Once processing completes, preview the lecture to confirm playback and audio.

Specs we recommend

  • Container: MP4 (H.264 video, AAC audio)
  • Resolution: 1080p or higher
  • Frame rate: 30 or 60 fps
  • Audio: 48 kHz, stereo, –12 dB peak

Common upload issues

  • Files over 4 GB — split the lecture or re-encode at a lower bitrate.
  • Slow uploads — use a wired connection if possible.
  • Stuck on Processing — refresh after 15 minutes; if still stuck, contact instructor support.
